Shooting near Plain leaves man wounded

PLAIN — Authorities are investigating a shooting incident that left a 55-year-old man wounded in both legs near Plain.

Deputies responded to a call at Plain Hardware Store on August 10, where they found the male victim with a single gunshot wound that had penetrated both of his legs. The man was transported to Confluence Health Hospital in Wenatchee for treatment.

According to the sheriff's office, the victim was driven to the hardware store by an unidentified woman from an undisclosed location where the shooting occurred. Both the victim and the woman have been uncooperative with investigators, providing little information about the circumstances surrounding the incident.

The exact location of the shooting has not been determined. Chelan County Sheriff's Office detectives are actively investigating the case.
