Posted

Stevens Pass confirmed that they opened for the 2022-23 winter season on Friday, December 2. The resort is proudly celebrating a milestone 85th anniversary this year.

“We depend on Mother Nature for our snow, and we have been fortunate to have favorable conditions,” said Ellen Galbraith, Stevens Pass Vice President & General Manager. “We are truly excited to welcome our guests back to Stevens Pass this winter, and to celebrate 85 years of incredible skiing and riding in the Pacific Northwest with our passionate and committed community this season.”

Guests who visit on opening day can expect an early-season terrain package, which includes

Brooks Express, Skyline Express, Hogsback Express, and Daisy Chair lifts spinning at 9 a.m., plus both carpets. Updates regarding any additional terrain openings will be announced on Stevens Pass social media channels. Guests can also enjoy food and beverage at our on-mountain dining locations, including Bull’s Tooth Pub & Eatery, Cascadian Kitchen, T-Bar Market, and Foggy Goggle. Those planning on heading up to Stevens Pass are encouraged to arrive early and carpool, if possible, and to book Ski and Ride School and equipment rentals in advance.

Stevens Pass is well-staffed for this winter season, and hiring has been – and continues to be – a priority for the mountain.  “I am grateful for our incredible team here at Stevens Pass who have put in the work to prepare the mountain for opening day,” said Galbraith. “I want to recognize and thank everyone on our team for their passion, dedication, and hard work. We remain focused on operational excellence and continued transparency throughout this season and are looking forward to a really amazing winter.”
