Stevens Pass announces new discount for friends of pass holders

SKYKOMISH — Friends of pass holders at Stevens Pass will be able to buy day lift tickets at 50 percent off this winter season.

The new Epic Friend Ticket offers 50 percent off a lift ticket with no restrictions, allowing friends to use them on busy holidays like Christmas Day. Friends are also able to apply the cost of one redeemed Epic Friend Ticket toward the purchase of a 2026-2027 Epic Pass. Most season-long passes include Epic Friend Tickets, including the Stevens Pass Select Pass and Epic Local Pass.

Pass holders that purchased their passes before April 14 this year will receive 10 Epic Friend Tickets, and those who purchased after will receive six. The deal replaces the former Buddy Ticket, which varied in discount by resort.

“By making it easier for our Pass Holders to share the ski experience with friends – through savings across not one, but two winter seasons – we hope to help spark traditions that will inspire groups of friends to return to the mountains for years to come,” said Vail Resorts CEO Rob Katz.

The $1,075 Epic Pass provides unlimited and unrestricted access to ski and ride at mountains under the Vail Resorts umbrella, including Whistler Blackcomb, Northstar and more. For a few hundred less, the $799 Epic Local Pass includes unlimited access to Stevens Pass and restricted access to other mountains. The $439 Stevens Pass Select Pass provides local mountain access excluding peak dates and most weekends. Vail Resorts is offering these prices until Sept. 1.
