Third annual Leavenworth Masters Tournament to benefit WVC Foundation

LEAVENWORTH — The third annual Leavenworth Masters Tournament benefitting the Wenatchee Valley College (WVC) Foundation will bring together golfers, disc golfers and spectators on June 19.

“The best disc and ball golfers in the Wenatchee Valley will descend onto the beautiful

grounds of Pine Hollow to compete,” said Rich Brinkman, Leavenworth Masters

Tournament organizer.

A free barbeque and drinks will be provided, along with raffles and bingo. There is a $15 entry fee for golf and a $10 entry fee for disc golf. The first-place golf winner will receive a $100 prize, second place will receive $60, and third place will receive $35. The first-place disc golf winner will receive a $75 prize, second place will receive $40, and third place will receive $25.

“Returning 2025 champions Niko Omlin (golf) and Mike Hartley (disc golf) will highlight the card to defend their respective titles, while last year’s place winners Connie Muggli, Jonathan Nunn, Jim Monesmith are all hoping to climb up the leaderboard toward the green jacket and prize money,” said Brinkman.

Proceeds from the event will support the WVC Foundation. Incorporated in 1971, the foundation has a mission of providing equitable access to education and investing in student success through philanthropy.

The tournament will be held at 823 Pine Street in Leavenworth from noon to 3 p.m.
