Thriving Together NCW launches North Central Washington wellbeing survey

EAST WENATCHEE — Thriving Together NCW, a regional nonprofit dedicated to advancing health and well-being, announces the launch of a survey designed to gather information from residents in Chelan, Douglas, Grant, and Okanogan Counties related to their overall wellness. The goal of the survey is to better understand the factors keeping individuals from reaching their full health potential to best support organizations and individuals alike in addressing these challenges. 

Results from the survey will help Thriving Together NCW understand the barriers and challenges unique to the region directly from the residents who live here. It will also provide insight as to who in the region is suffering, struggling, and thriving the most. The survey takes about 5 minutes to complete and provides an opportunity for residents to directly engage in building a more inclusive and resilient region. All responses are anonymous and will be treated with the utmost confidentiality to ensure the honesty and openness of participants.

"We believe that we learn best by engaging the community in identifying what makes them thrive. By understanding what community members are struggling the most, we can come together to engage those communities and create solutions that work," said Thriving Together NCW’s Executive Director, John Schapman. "The North Central Washington Wellbeing Survey is a vital tool that will help us pinpoint areas and populations we should be engaging with the most and work with those communities to tailor our efforts towards creating lasting positive change."

Survey results will be utilized to identify strengths and areas of opportunity across the region, providing valuable insights for community leaders, policymakers, and healthcare providers to better understand the communities they serve and ultimately support guiding resources to areas where they are most needed. Thriving Together NCW encourages all residents of Chelan, Douglas, Grant, and Okanogan Counties to participate in the survey, as their input is integral to shaping the future of North Central Washington’s health and well-being.
