PESHASTIN — Lane closures are scheduled Wednesday, June 17, on U.S. Highway 2 near Peshastin while crews remove trees near the roadway.
The work is planned from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. between mileposts 103 and 104, about four miles east of Leavenworth and west of the Peshastin Bridge.
Travelers should expect single-lane closures, flaggers, slowdowns and delays, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation. Crews will remove trees considered at risk of falling onto power lines or the highway.
