Women’s Exchange to host educational luncheon on health benefits of fiber

LEAVENWORTH — The Leavenworth Women's Exchange (LWE) will hold its monthly luncheon meeting on Wednesday, March 12, featuring a presentation on nutritional health.

The event will take place at the Icicle Inn Restaurant, located at 505 Highway 2 in Leavenworth, beginning at 12:00 p.m. Attendees will be charged $28.50 per person, which covers the lunch buffet, beverages, tax, and gratuity.

Katelin Limon, a registered dietitian and Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist, will deliver a program titled "The Importance of Fiber."

Organizers note that payment must be made by cash in the exact amount or by check made payable to LWE. Due to catering arrangements, individuals who cancel after March 6, 2025, will still be responsible for the cost of the lunch.

Reservations are required and can be made by contacting Claire Burlingame at 509-548-7142. The deadline for reservations is Thursday, March 6.
