WSDOT resumes work on US-2 west of Cashmere

CASHMERE — The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) will resume work on a five-mile section of US-2 west of Cashmere on July 27.

Over the course of the week, crews will build ramps and sidewalks at the junction of US-2 and SR-97, near the Don Senn Memorial Interchange at milepost 105. Repaving and planing the highway, from mileposts 105 to 109, will start the week of Aug. 3.

Travelers should expect single-lane and shoulder closures from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday through the fall. 

A shuttle service will be available to and from the bus stops to assist pedestrians through the work zone.
