Upper Valley MEND donation

This year, the Kahler Glen Golf Course donated almost $4,000 of proceeds from the “Bob Carmichael Memorial Ball Buster” to support Community Cupboard and the Plain Pantry food bank. Fifty six players played this 14 hole event on Oct. 8th. Twenty three gracious businesses and people chipped in to be hole sponsors, and many people donated items for the auction following the event. This is the 19th year for this event. The donations to the Community Cupboard food bank will be used to support the upcoming Thanksgiving and Christmas meal distribution, which provided 560 holiday meals for local families last year.
