Christina Bickel Schooling

Christina was born Jan. 9, 1946 to Alfred, and Thelma Bickel at St. Anthony's hospital in Wenatchee, Washington. Christina attended schools in Leavenworth, and was a 12 year student. She was very active in band, and piano. Christina graduated from Leavenworth High School with honors in 1964. She later attended Pacific Lutheran University. While at PLU, she met her future husband, William Dwight Schooling. They were married on July 8, 1967. Christina taught school in California until her son Alan was born. Later, her health became an issue, but she always maintained a positive attitude. For the last couple of years, she has fought a courageous battle with cancer. It won on Aug. 14, 2015. Christina was preceded in death by her father Alfred, and her mother Thelma. She is survived by her husband Dwight of Alto Loma California, son Alan Schooling, and wife Erin. Brother Al Jr (Ernie), and wife Veronika of Leavenworth. Niece Patricia Darlington of Leavenworth, Nephew Brian Bickel of East Wenatchee. Christina has now joined her mother, and father. She is missed by all.
