CITY OF CASHMERE SEPA DNS AND NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

PROJECT NAME: City of Cashmere 2026 Comprehensive Plan Periodic Update PROJECT DESCRIPTION: As part of the 2026 Comprehensive Plan periodic update process, the City of Cashmere is proposing to adopt the 2026 City of Cashmere Comprehensive Plan, changes to the zoning and land use maps, and updates to Title 16 Subdivisions and Title 17 Zoning. DETERMINATION OF NON-SIGNIFICANCE: As the Lead Agency, the City of Cashmere has determined that significant environmental impacts are unlikely to occur as a result from the proposed nonproject action. An environmental impact statement is not required under RCW 43.21C.030(2)(c). Therefore, as permitted under WAC 197-11-340(2), the City of Cashmere is Determination issuing of a Nonsignificance. The City will not act on this proposal for 14 days from the date of issuance. REVIEW: All documents are available for review at Cashmere City Hall, 101 Woodring Ave., Cashmere, WA 98815 and online at http://www.cityofcashmere.org/g overnment/plans-and-programs. NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING: The Cashmere Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Monday, November 2, 2026, 6:00 PM, at Cashmere City Hall to discuss the proposed actions. COMMENT DEADLINE: Comments on the SEPA determination must be received by Wednesday, October 14, 2026. Comments on the proposed Comprehensive Plan, maps, and codes will be accepted until the Planning Commission public hearing.
