CITY OF LEAVENWORTH

On the 14th day of April, 2026, the
City Council of the City of
Leavenworth, Washington passed
the following ordinances. A
summary of the contents provides
as follows:
Ordinance 1721: An Ordinance of
the City of Leavenworth,
Washington, amending certain
revenue and expenditure
appropriations in the 2025- 2026
budget and Ordinance #1704 for
the City of Leavenworth.
Ordinance 1722: An Ordinance of
the City of Leavenworth,
Washington adopting a six-month
moratorium on filing with and
processing by the City of CUP
applications for Bed & Breakfasts
and directing study of LMC
Chapter 18.54, related to adding
restrictions on the use of
residential units constructed using
the City’s pre-approved plan
program to Bed & Breakfasts and
revising the method of calculating
housing stock as such calculation
may limit the number of Bed &
Breakfasts in the City. A full copy
