Anita Louise (Farnsworth) Wisemore went to be with her Lord on Christmas Day, December 25, 2024. Born to Simeon Osro and Margaret Magdeline (Meyers) Farnsworth in Ovando, MT on June 8, 1925; she was the last surviving child of the couple's 11 children.
The family moved several times during Anita's early years until they settled in Leavenworth, WA. She married Royal A. Wisemore, also of Leavenworth, in 1951. Military life took her to Germany, Kentucky, Alaska, Arizona and back to Washington State. During that time they had two children, Kait (Wisemore) Koenig of Tumwater, WA and Jack Wisemore of Bothell, WA. After Royal retired from the military, the family moved to Yakima, WA where Anita raised the children and where a steady stream of friends and extended family came throughout the day "to have a cup of coffee at Nita's."
In the mid-1980s, she moved to Mountlake Terrace, WA, to assist her sister, Hazel Price, in operating Price Ministries, a Christian missions and missionary support organization. Retiring from Price Ministries, Anita moved to Tumwater, WA to live with Kait's family, where she was "Myna", a nickname from her oldest grandson's mispronunciation of "Grandma", to the many people who cycled through the house. She was always ready to lend an ear to anyone over a cup of coffee and prayed constantly for those within her orbit.
She was preceded in death by her parents Simeon and Margaret (Meyers) Farnsworth, her husband Royal Wisemore and her 11 siblings: Patricia Howerton, Henry Farnsworth, Sylvia Lierman, Benjamin Farnsworth, Margaret Michaelis, Simeon Farnsworth Jr., Martha Tobias, Jennie Troemel, Betty Harris and Hazel Price. She is survived by her two children, their spouses and children: Kait, Bob, Grant (Chloe), and Aidan Koenig of Tumwater; Jack, Jennifer, Isla, and Sophie Wisemore of Bothell and many generations of nieces and nephews.
