Chelan PUD customer survey begins Nov. 3 by phone, text and email

WENATCHEE — Chelan PUD customers may receive a phone call, text message or email beginning Nov. 3 asking about their experiences with the utility as part of a customer satisfaction survey.

Strategic Research of Spokane will conduct the survey in English and Spanish, with work expected to finish by the end of November. The PUD surveys customers every two years and says the results will help guide improvements in service, reliability and communication.

“The customer survey gives us valuable feedback about what’s working well and where we can do better,” said Justin Erickson, the PUD’s chief strategy and stakeholder officer. “Our goal is to deliver the best possible value and continue earning the trust of our customer-owners.”

The survey will measure overall customer satisfaction, satisfaction with reliability, how well the utility communicates with customers and how customers believe the PUD is fulfilling its mission in the community.

The research firm will gather responses from a representative sample designed to match Chelan County’s demographics, according to the PUD. Strategic Research has conducted similar surveys for public and private utilities throughout Washington.

Customers with questions about the survey can contact Chelan PUD at contactus@chelanpud.org.
