Leavenworth accordion festival returns June 25-27

LEAVENWORTH - Accordion enthusiasts from across the Pacific Northwest will gather in Leavenworth June 25-28 for the annual Leavenworth International accordion Celebration, a three-day festival featuring concerts, workshops, competitions and community performances.

Events will take place at multiple venues throughout town. The Festhalle will host vendor displays, concerts, and an accordion competition, while Grange Hall will offer lessons, sheet music sales and workshops led by instructors Lori Beth Brooke, Gail Campanella, Toby Hanson and Jan Marhoul.

Accordion players may also sign up to perform at the outdoor Gazebo. Professional accordionists will perform at local restaurants throughout the day, and evenings will conclude with group jam sessions.

Sponsored by the Northwest Accordion Society, the annual event draws accordion players and enthusiasts to Leavenworth to celebrate the instrument through performances and educational opportunities.
